In the first week of January, a colleague noticed an animal in one of our halls that had sought refuge from the cold. Instead of ignoring it, she took a closer look. The cat looked familiar—gray tabby fur, dark bushy tail tip.
Flyers had been posted in the neighborhood for several days with a missing cat notice. She remembered this and compared her observation with the picture. After a brief consultation with a colleague, it was clear that this must be Pezi, who had been missing since 30 December.
The owner was contacted by phone, came by the same day, and was happily reunited with his pet. Afterwards, he sent a written thank-you note:
“Your wonderful employee didn’t forget the report of my missing cat and called me after she saw it in her hall. It was a tearful reunion.”
~Josef Gall
The incident is not directly related to our core tasks, but it illustrates a central aspect of our corporate culture: paying close attention, thinking ahead, and reliability—in human interaction as well as in technical details.
We would like to thank everyone involved – and wish Pezi continued safe travels.
