In the first week of January, a colleague noticed an animal in one of our halls that had sought refuge from the cold. Instead of ignoring it, she took a closer look. The cat looked familiar—gray tabby fur, dark bushy tail tip.
Flyers had been posted in the neighborhood for several days with a missing cat notice. She remembered this and compared her observation with the picture. After a brief consultation with a colleague, it was clear that this must be Pezi, who had been missing since 30 December.
The owner was contacted by phone, came within a few minutes, and was happily reunited with his pet. Afterwards, he sent a written thank-you note:
“Your wonderful employee didn’t forget my report of my missing cat and called me after seeing him in her warehouse. There was a tearful reunion.”
~ Josef Gall
The incident is not directly related to our core tasks, but it illustrates a central aspect of our corporate culture: paying close attention, thinking ahead, and reliability—in human interaction as well as in technical details.
We would like to thank everyone involved – and wish Pezi continued safe travels.
