New Innomotics Catalog D81.1 Now Available – The Latest Information on Low-Voltage Motors Up to 1000 kW

The new Innomotics Catalog D81.1, covering the 02/2026 edition, is now available in the MOLL MOTOR download section. The current main catalog brings together the entire low-voltage motor portfolio of the GP, SD, XP, and DP series—ranging from standard motors to explosion-proof and application-specific versions.

The new catalog not only features updated technical specifications, but also expands the product portfolio in several areas relevant to practical applications:

  • Expansion of the SD next generation platform
  • Expanded SD Add and SD Pro series
  • Updated VSD4000 and VSD10-Line solutions for drive operation
  • Expanded international IEC, NEMA, APAC and ABNT versions
  • Updated IE4 and international efficiency classes
  • Expanded options for brakes, encoders and modular mounting technology
  • Consolidated project planning and engineering data up to 1000 kW

The greater integration of digital tools is particularly relevant for mechanical engineering, plant engineering and industrial operators. The new catalog also describes the capabilities of the current Innomotics Configurator, as well as the MEPS databases and the Digital Data App for accessing spare parts and motor data. These databases can be used by end customers and further improve the efficiency and response times of distribution partners such as MOLL-MOTOR.

The current D81.1 edition thus represents the most comprehensive technical status of Innomotics low-voltage motors to date—including the GP, SD, XP and DP series, VSD solutions and international market variants.

From Siemens to Innomotics – Continuity Instead of Discontinuity

Many customers continue to search for replacements using terms such as “Siemens motors,” “SIMOTICS motors” or “Siemens low-voltage motors”. This is understandable from both a technical and historical perspective: Innomotics emerged directly from the Siemens motors division and continues to manage its product lines, manufacturing sites and engineering expertise.

For MOLL-MOTOR, too, this development is part of a long shared history. The first official contract with Siemens was signed as early as 1999, later followed by the expansion to include all partner programs. The collaboration has been continuously expanded over decades. As a result, our employees are thoroughly familiar with the products and the structure of part designations and modification kits, and can find what end customers need within minutes.

Today, the cooperation ranges from standard motors to explosion-proof special motors and wood-drying motors, all the way to complex drive and automation solutions. MOLL-MOTOR has decades of experience with Siemens and Innomotics drive technology and serves customers throughout Austria and beyond.

The historical connection goes back even further: electric motors have been among the Siemens Group’s core technologies since its inception. With Innomotics, this long-established business unit was spun off into an independent company that focuses entirely on electric drive technology and is now wholly owned by the investment firm KPS Capital Partners.

For customers, this means above all continuity: familiar product series, established engineering processes, long-term spare parts supply, and the same technical standards—now under the Innomotics brand. This is precisely why MOLL-MOTOR continues to supply the Austrian market with the current product lines, which are marketed under the well-known brand name Innomotics.
